Takeout / Pickup
Takeout orders should ideally be placed with advance notice and pickup times should be designated to avoid crowding when possible, minimize contact and comply with mandatory social distancing guidelines. Designated waiting areas should be marked clearly with signage designed to help customers find their pickup location and inform them of our safety protocol. When possible customers should wait in their cars and be notified via call, text or other electronic communication when their order is ready. The same is valid for pickup couriers who should have a separate waiting area.
Contact Tracing
Takeout and pickup orders should be prepared by a designated employee. Each order should be accompanied by a note naming the packager, the time and date of packaging to facilitate contact tracing should an asymptomatic employee show symptoms later or be diagnosed with Covid-19 or antibodies. Said note should inform the customers that the packager at the time of packaging did not show any symptoms or had tested positive for Coronavirus. Said note should also direct the customer to this website showing the current Covid-19 mitigation protocols at our facility
