In-person sales calls should be pre-arranged via call, text or email when possible to minimize exposure to potential infectious environments. Sales representative is to wear a face mask at all times and maintain safe physical distance from the external representative(s). Disposable gloves should be worn when handling samples and glassware. No physical contact is permitted, i.e. no handshakes, hugs, etc. Wash hands before putting on the gloves when possible. Alternatively use a hand sanitizer, rubbing hands together until they are completely dry. Wash hands again after disposing gloves. Record orders electronically. Samples and leave behinds must be disinfected with appropriate food-safe chemicals before entering the customer premises.

Deliveries

Deliveries should be executed with minimal contact. Gloves must be worn when handling kegs, hand trucks and paperwork. Maintain safe physical distancing whenever possible. We are aware that walk-in coolers and restaurant kitchens are congested areas. When possible leave kegs and cases in a designated spot. If it isn’t possible enter congested areas alone or wait until others have left said area. Any paperwork should be carried in plastic sleeves, with one sleeve designated per customer. Disinfect paperwork sleeves and shared items such as pens, credit cards, checks or cash with an appropriate chemical when possible. Alternatively wash hands or use hand sanitizer immediately after touching a contaminated item.

Keg Pickup

Arrange keg pickup via call, text or email before arrival at the pickup location. Empties should be placed in an easily accessible space and should be moved maintaining safe physical distance from others whenever possible. Avoid typically crowded times such as lunch. Wear disposable gloves when retrieving kegs or other items such as keg handles. Disinfect the high contact surfaces of such items with appropriate chemicals before loading in the vehicle. Spray bottles and wipes with disinfectants are provided in all company vehicles for this purpose. At the end of the delivery/keg retrieval shift disinfect the delivery vehicle’s contact surfaces with an appropriate chemical.
